LARA COURSES

The LARA team has developed and delivered pilot courses for adults of all ages and backgrounds. Their purpose was to focus learners’ attention on the ability to deal with changes in life by exercising existing knowledge, skills and abilities (resources) and by being ready to learn (from these resources).

The team devised a planning framework within in which courses were developed. During the summer of 2009 partners tested and piloted their chosen modules. Click here to discover more about the planning framework.

Partners piloted courses on the following themes:

  • Self-presentation
Piloted by ATHENA in Czech Republic: "Self-Presentation for Women", August 26th  and 27th, 2009

  • My career path – Working to my full potential
Piloted by VHS-Hamburg in Germany: "My career path - what are the next steps?", August 27th, 2009
  • Health. How did illness or accident influence my life? What did I learn? How did my life change as a result of what I learned?
Piloted by ZDUS in Slovenia: "Health", August 20th - 27th, 2009
  • I’ve got so far –  Planning next learning steps
Piloted by VHS-Hamburg in Germany, August 2009

During summer 2009 LARA partners were testing and piloting the developed LARA courses for adults:
