WELCOME TO THE LARA PROJECT

What is LARA?

• LARA stands for Learning a Response to Ageing

• It is a Grundtvig multi-lateral project funded by the European Commission. For more information about the EC’s Lifelong Learning programme click here:

• The project began in December 2008 and will complete in November 2010

• The LARA team will develop training for adult educators on the theme of ageing and learning

• In order to do this the team will:

  - conduct research

  - develop and deliver courses for adults of all ages

  - devise a training programme and manual

• The English Version of our LARA training package is finsished and will be available soon, actually we are preparing the translations into: German, Slovenian, Portuguese, Czech and French language.

• Final congress in Hamburg, Germany, October 15, 2010,
